Electrical recording and stimulation with large numbers of electrodes is becoming a critical requirement fornext-generation neural interfaces. Electrode to brain interfaces have numerous applications, including neuro-prosthetics, treatment of disorders including epilepsy, depression, Alzheimer’s, and restoring function forspeech, eyesight, and motion.

We have taken a new approach combining current CMOS technology together with low-damage recording systems to achieve ultra high channel count and stability electrodes for BMI interfaces.
